Ronan with SLA Leadership (against peace agreement)

The trip was the second for Mia. She met with representatives of the Sudanese Government, agencies and partners to urge that steps be taken to ensure peace and stability.  She highlighted the need for international commitment to civilian protection in the face of a genocide being perpetrated by the Sudanese government.
